Wonderfest - 2016 Results

I hadn't posted to let everyone know the results from Wonderfest.  I'll explain how awards work first and then let you know how my pieces did.

There are 5 possible outcomes for awards at Wonderfest.  Gold, Silver, Bronze, Merit, and Nothing.  The way judging works you start off with a gold and then the judges find flaws with the piece (anything from cleanup of mold lines, brush strokes, glue lines, etc) and deduct points, moving the piece downward in the awards.  From what I've been told, getting a gold at Wonderfest is something to be proud of and is difficult to do.

So, how did the pieces I took do?

Black Widow - Merit

Bomber Belle (Crash Kids Commemorative) - Merit 

Twisty the Clown - Nothing

One or more of these pieces may go to Jerseyfest this year also to see how they do.  I do know that I am taking 2 new pieces to Jerseyfest though, the Devil bust and a Dinosaur that I am currently working on.
